Scott and I took 9 confirmands to Lake Logan March 18-20 for our annual confirmation retreat weekend. We considered and discussed faith and God and the Trinity. We considered sacraments, like baptism, eucharist, marriage, unction and ordination. We pondered questions like, "why go to church?; why believe?; and how it is we can know something is real that we can't see. We went on a hike to Devil's Courthouse and went roller skating in Waynesville for fun. We enjoyed being with one another and learned a lot about following Jesus and Episcopal faith, in particular. Please join us to celebrate Confirmation Sunday on Sunday, April 24th, which is our Bishop's visitation.
