CONFIRMATION AT TRINITY

As in all Episcopal churches, Confirmation takes place at Trinity only when the bishop is visiting and only after a period of education and formation led by the clergy and other lay leaders. The sacrament of Confirmation is akin to publicly committing one's life to following the way of Christ. Often confirmation is the public, adult affirmation of the promises made on a person's behalf in their baptism as children. However, those not raised in the Episcopal tradition also participate in confirmation. At Trinity, you must be in 6th grade or older to be confirmed and complete Confirmation preparation classes.
