God's Church | Our Story: Celebrating Our Past & Discovering Our Future Together

Something meaningful is happening at Trinity, and we want you at the table.

Over the past 13 years, this community has grown, weathered COVID-19 and Hurricane Helene, and continued to shine as a place of God's grace. Now, as we look toward the future, we're gatherin

g around a simple but powerful question:

What has God been doing among us — and where is God calling us next?

We're hosting two intimate dinners, and you're personally invited to join us at either one:

  • Wednesday, April 29, at 5:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday, May 20, at 5:00 p.m.

We encourage you to arrive a little early — before dinner, you'll have the chance to add your own chapter to our Wall of Wonder Timeline, a living portrait of Trinity's story told through the memories and moments that matter most to you.

Then, over dinner, we'll do something both simple and significant. We'll invite you to share your perspective — on Trinity's strengths through the years, on the gifts that have carried us to where we are today, and on what makes this community uniquely Trinity. As we listen to one another and discover our collective strengths, we'll begin to see more clearly how to leverage them: how to worship the living God more fully, care for one another more deeply, and serve Asheville and beyond more boldly in the years to come.

And here's something worth saying plainly: this gathering carries none of the weight you might expect. We are not preparing to search for a new rector. We are not preparing to ask for money. This is something rarer and more freeing than either of those things — an honest, open invitation to come together as a church and simply ask:

What is God doing among us, and how can we best serve God now?

Every voice matters. Every story matters. Yours included.

Please join us. Dinner is on us — your presence and your perspective are the gift.
