We have modified today’s 10:45 service because today is an “Everybody UpStairs Sunday.” All our members, young and old are present and our Director of Children’s Ministries (Nanette Popa) is leading our homily in the style of “Godly Play,” the children’s ministry curriculum used in our Sunday School for children. In the Gospel of Matthew Jesus said that unless we become like children we will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Sometimes the story of the scripture as told to children makes more sense than anything else.
You might want to light a candle or set up a sacred space in your home to mark this time of worship. You will also have the opportunity to use chat as a way to offer up prayer requests for the Prayers of the People.
