Our Outreach and Mission

DSC_0022.JPG

Our outreach programs dig deep into the community to assist people and programs that improve the quality of life in Western North Carolina.

Trinitarians contribute time and money to efforts including building houses for Habitat for Humanity and teaching reading for clients of the Literacy Council, to name just two. Trinity tithes 10% of its pledged income to ministries and non-profits in our community and provides support through many other hands-on endeavors and commitment of time.

Our Inreach and Care

Volunteer opportunities within the church abound:  Worship, Education, Music, Pastoral Care and our many Ministry Teams.  For specific roles and responsibilities, click the "Learn More..." button below.

Trinity Church is a nurturing Christian community providing opportunities for worship, spiritual growth and commitment in an open and supportive atmosphere.

Our Parish Community and Fellowship

We are a church that opens our doors and services to all.  Trinity has parishioners of every age from infant through seniors, and stages of life: single, married with and without children, of every lifestyle.

Our Worship

Our Sunday services range from the traditional contemplative and Eucharistic services in the morning to a Celtic service in the late afternoon.

In addition to our morning services, we offer breakfast, a nursery for infants, and Sunday School for toddlers through adults.

During the week, we offer many opportunities for reflection, including Men's and Women's Bible Study and a Wednesday afternoon service in the Redwood Chapel.

Trinity Church has been the Episcopal church in downtown Asheville since1849.  We are one of 62 parishes of the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina and a member of ECUSA, the Episcopal Church of the United States of America.

In addition to the church and chapel, Trinity is home to The Church of the Advocate, which ministers to the homeless community in Asheville.
