Trinity "Day" of Service

March 30, 9a- 12p

Join us for a morning of serving God by serving our neighbors and each other. Sponsored by Trinity’s Outreach Team this is a Trinity-wide event with various ways you can share God's love through acts of service. The hope is that ALL members of Trinity can find a way to be in service at the same time on the same day.

Opportunities include serving outside the parish walls at ABCCM, Manna Foodbank, and Trinity Place or at Trinity by deep-cleaning the kitchen, the children's area or prepping the gardens for spring, The inclement weather day will be Sunday, April 6.

Can't make March 30? Head out to Lake Logan on Thursday, April 4 to paint Trinity's adopted cabin.

There is a way for every member of Trinity, of all generations to be a part of this morning of service.

Following is a list of places you may serve:

ABCCM Inside:  At the 24 Cumberland Ave Crisis Center, we will be cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing areas (pantry and clothing closet). Bring some old rags and rubber gloves. Cleaning supplies will be provided. After registering here, you will be emailed a from from ABCCM to continue your registration.  Allow 3-5 days.  Captain:  Liz Trask

Under 18 need release form. Under 14 need adult supervision. 

ABCCM Outside: At the 24 Cumberland Ave Crisis Center, we will be weeding, spreading mulch around the building, and planting some flowers. Bring gloves and rakes, shovels, and pitchforks. Wheelbarrows will be provided. After registering here, you will be emailed a from from ABCCM to continue your registration.

Manna Food Bank:  We will preform tasks at Manna including sorting food, repacking healthy food, and creating emergency food boxes for distribution.  Captain:  Cynthia Thornton

 

Trinity Place:  We will spruce up the outside of Trinity Place including weeding, mulching and planting flowers. Bring gloves and rakes and shovels.  Captain:  Linda Hemstreet

 

Trinity Gardens:  Join the Garden Guild to prepare the gardens for spring. Bring gloves and gardening tools.  Captain:  Barbara Setzer

Trinity Kitchen:  We will deep clean the kitchen. Bring gloves and old rags.  Captain:  Sandy Grant

Trinity Children’s Area: We will deep clean and organize this vital ministry area. Bring rags and gloves. Captain:  Beth Chestnut

 

If you are not available on March 30, there is another opportunity on April 4 to help paint our adopted cabin at Lake Logan.
