From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. John 1:16
Christian stewardship is a natural part of a life of faith. It is lived out in:
Both for the individual and for the community, stewardship is a joyful act for the sake of God's world. Christian stewardship is the grateful and responsible use of God's gifts in the light of God's purpose as revealed in Jesus Christ. Christian stewards, empowered by the Holy Spirit, commit themselves to conscious, purposeful decisions.
Ways to give:
Give a Gift Today
The simplest way to support Trinity Church and its ministries is through cash gifts. But creative gifts of assets can include stocks, bonds, and property (real estate and personal property such as artwork, cars, silver). These gifts not only provide you with charitable deductions, but often offer additional tax savings as well. You can give a gift online.
As a member of Trinity Church, we encourage you to participate in annual giving. An annual gift, made through a pledge, assists lay leaders in planning for the mission and ministry of Trinity Church. An annual pledge is mainly an individualís way of bonding your faith to Godís purposes on earth. Practically, your gift supports our celebration of the sacraments, ministry with all generations and our Outreach to the wider community. A narrative of our budget of Trinity church is provided on this page. It provides an overview of the ministry your gift supports. Make a payment on your 2017 pledge.
Legacy Giving and Endowment Fund
A gift to the Trinity Church Endowment Fund supports our parishís ministries in perpetuity. Using its dividend and interest income, the Endowment Fund assists in meeting extraordinary capital needs and in underwriting special ministries and projects. Gifts can be made in life, by bequest or on a deferred basis.
The Trinity Legacy Society was established by Trinity Church to honor those who include our parish in their estate plans. Planned gifts are a unique way to leave a lasting impact on the lives of others beyond your lifetime. In addition to supporting the parishís ministry and mission, a planned gift expresses your personal values and continues the stewardship of your life.
You are invited to invest in the future needs of Trinity Episcopal Church as we continue to serve our members, our community and our world. Please consider including Trinity in your estate plans. Michael Andry is the chair of our Planned Giving Committee and he would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Gifts of Time and Talent
Trinity Church is a parish with many ministries and many ways to give back through time and talent. We encourage you not only to weekly worship but also by spending a portion of your time in community with us. If you are not sure where to start but would like to give of your time and talents, let us help you get connected. Contact David who would love to help you get connected at Trinity. Also, please visit our "In-Reach" Ministry Page online.
Flower and Other Memorials
Gifts of Altar Flowers in the Church for our Sunday worship can be given in memory of someone who has died or in thanksgiving for an occasion of celebration, such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation and more. Altar flower gifts are recognized in the bulletin on the weekend of their placement. If you are interested, contact the Flower Guild President, Tina McGuire.
Other creative memorials are welcome at Trinity. Please contact the Rector to discuss your interest.
